We had a wonderful  (long) day out with  Linda and David in West Limerick recently.  Linda who is from the Newcastle West area and David who is from Northern Ireland met while they both studied in Scotland  and  fell for each other straight away.

Over the past year or so we have got to know them quite well, between them booking us well over a year ago, and then a few months back they came to Listowel for their E-Session . From the minute we met them we knew we were going to have great fun, they had a very open attitude towards the photography and were willing to “go with the flow” so to speak which is the way we work best.

It was very touching to see both Linda and her dad have emotional moments before they left her home for the last time as a single girl. We also stopped on the way to see Lindas gran who was in a nursing home in Ardagh, and what a location it was to capture a few images before we headed for the wedding ceremony in the Church Of Ireland, Adare. This was my first time in this church so it was wonderful to shoot in a brand new location , though I have shot in the grounds on a few occasions.

The bridal party on the day were equally a pleasure to work with and we are sorry guys for catching you out on one of the pictures …don’t blame me it was the girls doing.

My “Pick of the Day” as seen above proved that you are never safe when me or my assistants are lurking with our cameras. I adore letting children be themselves, it lends for sometimes the most candid but natural antics that a child can get up to.

To Linda and David thank you for letting us be part of your big day , and also for deciding to go with the extended coverage, I think you will agree that it would have been a shame to miss out on some of the magical facial expressions we got at the speeches; and to David…. loved the touch of finding one of Linda’s old works of art where she declared ” Linda is the best”……I persume she will now have you frame that and hang it up somewhere where you will be reminded on a daily basics.

On a personal note, thank you to PJ who second shot for me on the day and who’s many pictures featured on the day , and to Clodagh for lighting the shots so well.

Hi Brendan,

Your photographs have truly blown us away. Thank you for capturing the essence of our wedding day and giving to us the wonderful memories we will now have for life. It was a pleasure to have your company. You, PJ and Clodagh brought the fun factor with your fresh and creative approach to wedding photography. We really appreciate the long hours and detours to nursing homes; as a result we have the most amazing collection of photography’s. I really love how you captured our guests, their reactions and facial expressions, as the bride and groom you don’t always see what is going on around you.

Thank you for putting together the wonderful slide show which we have watched countless times, we have also sent it to all our family and friends and the feedback is unreal.

Your work has exceeded our exceptions without a doubt and we can’t wait to create the album with you.

Thank you so much.
Linda and David
