Following the E-Session of Lorraine and Joe from a few weeks ago, we got to re-visit the same areas having checked them out first on the E-Shoot.
This time we had the addition of not only a beautiful bride & a handsome groom but also, a vintage Jaguar E-Type….ok I better mention the beautiful bridesmaids and handsome ….& wild… groomsmen too!!! Despite it being a day full of thrills and spills as regards equipment; with one of my main cameras going on the blink the night before, and then catching the strap of my other one on the handle of a press , hitting the floor and going out of action , we proved that having backups in this job is so vital to continuing the job without any interruption to the performance and quality of what is expected of us. The backups were pulled out and the shooting continued as if nothing happened.
Lorraine and Joe made it such a pleasure to photograph on the day and it was even commented to me by a few people that it has been a long time since we have seen a couple look at each other with such admiration and love that this couple showed on the day…they could not keep their eyes off each other and it made capturing the romance of the day so much easier and natural. It was great to work with Videographer Leon Costello , it’s always a pleasure to shoot beside Leon and you would hardly know that the guy is there. Thanks Leon, hope to see you again during the year.
The reception was held in one of our most popular venues -Ballygarry House Hotel in Tralee…Padraig and the staff,as always, were very professional and accommodating to our requests…as always it was a pleasure. But I have to say it again - it was such a pleasure been part of Lorraine and Joes ’Big Day’ …it was a great start to the wedding season. We strive as we always do, to bring a unique set of images to every couple and always push the boundaries of great imagery .
On a closing note, I have just got the following quote texted from their honeymoon in New Zealand….. “Oh my God, you did amazing work. They are fantastic! Thanks a mill! , Lorraine” It’s great when we get it right!!
